Someone’s Shoes

Throughout history, there will always be someone who is better. Someone who will never be topped. Yet everyone has a mindset that they have to either fill those shoes or fit even larger shoes.

Vera Pavlova presents a case that if someone wants to be the greatest, then they have to walk the walk. Why is this a mindset? One can only do so much. Many are compared to their older and otherwise more successful family or friends. Instead of acting as a goal for one to reach, most take the comparison as a hard hitter to their self esteem.
